About 30 vehicles involved in crash on Thruway in Batavia

BATAVIA, N.Y. — New York State Police say about 25-30 vehicles were involved in a crash near Exits 48 and 48A on the Thruway in Batavia.

All westbound traffic is being diverted at Exit 48. Eastbound traffic was being diverted, but it has since been lifted. According to State Police both passenger and commercial, were involved.

At this time, only non-life threatening injuries have been reported, State Police say. People are asked to avoid the area.
